    Zero Theory’s Law Enforcement Sniper course is the foundational certification program for law enforcement officers assigned to a sniper or precision-rifle role. This five-day course is designed for officers who are new to the sniper position and provides the core knowledge, skills, and standards expected of a modern SWAT sniper. Students will learn the essential tools, marksmanship principles, and operational procedures required to deliver precise, accountable fire in support of law enforcement operations. Instruction emphasizes both extended-range engagements and the extreme precision required for close-range sniper applications.

    Live-fire and classroom instruction will take place at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office range in Moss Point, Mississippi. Students will work through a structured progression of instruction that includes rifle setup and zero confirmation, ballistic fundamentals, positional shooting, observation and communication, and practical sniper employment. Once rifles are confirmed, shooters will engage steel and paper targets from 25 to 600 yards using a variety of techniques and operational scenarios. Successful completion of the full five-day program is required to earn the Zero Theory Law Enforcement Sniper Certificate. Enrollment is limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants must ensure their schedules are clear and their equipment is prepared. This course is restricted to law enforcement and military personnel. Daily start time is 0800. Note – Mississippi law enforcement officers/agents will receive 40 hours of continuing education credit for this course through MS BLEOST. Law enforcement officers/agents from reciprocal states may receive credit as well.   • LPVO Operator – Moss Point, MS (LE)

    LPVO Operator is a 1-Day (8 hour) training course designed to improve your knowledge, skills, and abilities with a modern tactical carbine equipped with a Low Power Variable Optic (LPVO). Training includes both close quarters and medium distance combat shooting. Weapon manipulation, movement in a tactical environment, and positional/barricade shooting are core tenets of the course, but here these concepts are applied at both close and medium distances in order to take advantage of the unique capabilities the LPVO has to offer. A staple of the curriculum involves establishing “limited dope” for your individual reticle in increments out to 350 yards, then employing that DOPE at distance and in context. We will also discuss equipment setup and optimization with an eye towards mission-driven capabilities. LPVO Operator is an ideal training revolution for law enforcement officers or military personnel who employ LPVOs on duty, for example on patrol carbines, reconnaissance missions, or providing overwatch to tactical elements. Note - Mississippi law enforcement officers/agents will receive 8 hours of continuing education credit for this course through MS BLEOST.     BOOKING: Once you complete your purchase, our scheduler will reach out to you via email to coordinate your training date. The specific date will be coordinated between you and your instructor based on availability of personnel and range facilities. Typically, we are able to accommodate private bookings on weekends or week days and within 60 days of booking. When booking, you must select one of the pre-defined training topics. 5 hours goes fast, so training time cannot be divided into multiple topics. If you are interested in more than one topic, we recommend booking multiple sessions. Private training sessions may be booked for up to 4 people at a time. If you have more than 4 people in your group, please reach out to us via email about a custom course. LOCATION: We have access to multiple training facilities within a 2-hour driving radius of the Memphis, TN metro area. Locations requiring further travel or overnight accommodations will incur additional cost. We can also come onsite to your location, in some instances.   • DMR Unknown Distance & Movers – Como, MS

    Unknown Distance & Movers is a 1-Day (8 hour) training course from our Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) series designed to challenge and improve the shooter’s skills and abilities with a precision scoped carbine at distances up to 500 yards. Instruction and drills are focused on the improvement and application of practical scoped carbine skills in order to develop capable designated marksmen. This course builds on the fundamentals established in our Scoped Carbine Clinic. It is intermediate to advanced level and requires shooters to arrive with the fundamental ability to successfully engage mid-size targets out to 500 yards. This course emphasizes useful techniques for successfully engaging moving targets and targets at unknown distances, including an introductory overview of Maximum Point Blank Range (MPBR) shooting. As a DMR training course, all targets will be mid-size steel at distances of 100 to 500 yards. This is an ideal training evolution for military/LE designated marksmen, snipers, or competitive shooters. Please note the prerequisite for this course: demonstrable ability to engage mid-size targets at known distances up to 500 yards on-demand; recommend successful completion of Zero Theory’s Scoped Carbine Clinic or substantially similar training  Note - Mississippi law enforcement officers/agents will receive 8 hours of continuing education credit for this course through MS BLEOST.
